Our History
-
A careful selection for the company’s strategic location near the main road that connects the kingdom from the north with the capital Amman and towards Jordan’s main port in Aqaba; the Industrial Complex of CMI was established in Al-Hassa area in 1993 as a Limited Liability Company.
-
The proximity of the Industrial Complex’s location from Jordan’s port in Aqaba and the bordering posts with neighboring countries as Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Iraq has ultimately facilitated in creating from this complex a major center for production, warehousing, and export operations in the mining and chemical industries. This complex supplies the needs of Jordan and other neighboring countries of explosives and other materials related to mining and chemical industries.
-
In 2006, an initiative was launched in cooperation with Jordanian Association of Retired Military for establishing the Jordanian Company for the Transport and Supply of Hazardous Materials (Safe Transport), which is specialized in the transportation, distribution, and utilization of hazardous materials.
